Your collaboration will help further the <strong>fight against cancer and other diseases<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Contributing biological samples for biomedical research is a <strong>voluntary, altruistic<\/strong> act by donors. To do so, you will have to sign an informed consent form so the remainder of the tumour specimens saved in the hospital after surgery and\/or donating blood can be used.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.xbtc.cat\/en\/the-xbtc\/\">Xarxa de Bancs de Tumors de Catalunya<\/a> (XBTC) ensures the traceability of each donor\u2019s biological material, so you can find out which studies you\u2019re collaborating with, if you are interested.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50
